Our participants represent a diverse group of individuals with a variety of diagnoses including: Autism, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Intellectual and Developmental disabilities, and more! Our Kehillah community brightens everyone's day with the joy and excitement they bring with them.

We are looking to hire a Social Group Leader  to work with our Tweens, Teens, and adults with special needs.  This role will provide specific instruction to a group of individuals with different abilities that builds social skills, personal safety, as well as specific program skills

  • Plan group activities and facilitate social group

  • Adapt instruction to the meet the needs of each individual to ensure success

  • Communicate regularly with participants, caregivers, and supervisor

  • Have fun with our participants!

 Qualifications:

Available Monday and Thursday evenings

Must be at least 18 years of age

Experience and/or training in working with individuals with different abilities

Have great written and oral skills

Have great conflict resolution and problem solving skills

Successful background check and fingerprinting required

CPR/AED and First Aid certification required (we will provide training if needed)
